when i double click on any drive then drive open new window & i can't see files whenever files are located in drives Answer: you can set single click open drive.
That is dependant on you folder option setting. Open my computer and click on the tools tab then folder options from tools menu. On the first page there is a choice of open in the same window or open in a new window, check the box you would like to use and you should be good.
Left-click the 'My computer' icon on your desktop (either a single or double-click - depending how your mouse is set up) In the new window that opens - right-click the icon for the pen-drive Select 'Eject' from the list of options. Your pen drive can now safely be removed.
In the Windows platforms, double-click on "My Computer", and from the window that opens, right-click on your hard drive icon (usually the "C" drive). Form the right-click menu, select "Properties". On that page, next to the word "Capacity" it will tell you the size of your hard drive.
Let me start by saying that you may NOT want to do this. System files are hidden for a reason and unless you know what you are doing (and since you are asking such a basic question, I assume you don't) I'd suggest leaving them hidden. But to answer your question double click My computer and then double click your C drive. click on Tools in the menu bar and then click on Folder Options. A window will open, click on the view tab at the top. Towa5rds the bottom of that window you'll see an option for Hidden files and folders. In there you have two options. Show or don't show. Click the show option and then click apply and OK. There you will now see your system and hidden files. Again I suggest you DO NOT do this.
When you plug your flash drive into an available USB slot, a window should automatically pop up saying " view files or folders", click on it then drag n drop your documents into the opened window. If the window does not appear, click on start menu - my computer("computer" in vista) and look for a drive that's not your hard drive (usually C), and not your CD/DVD drive, in my computer, my Flash drive shows up as "UDISK F". Once you find your flash drive icon, double click it to open a new window. Open your documents folder and drag n drop the documents directly into the opened window. Abra Cadabra you are now a computer genius (According to my Mom).
If your using windows, double click on computer. Then double click on your flash drive. Then open another window and go to my music (or where ever your music is). Right click on the songs you want and press copy. Go back over to your flash drive, right click, and press paste. From there, your computer will copy all the songs that you wanted!
here are some options= 1. Drag and drop from clicking it once and holding it and drop into your flash drive's window. 2.Open your document in what ever program you have and click save as and rename the document and changing the saving location on the bottom to the flash drive location of the save as window.
By double-clicking it.
You have probably configured Windows to open drives and folders in a new window.
Click on the Start menu, then click Computer. Right click on the hard drive you would like to make a shortcut of, and click "Create Shortcut". A shortcut to your selected hard drive will then be placed on your desktop. Double click on your new shortcut to gain access your hard drive.
Go to "my computer". The DVD is a lettered drive (D,E, or F usually). Double click on the icon or right click for "open with" options.
