May be a defective ignition switch
It is probably a bad ground most intermittent problems with electric components are
Change the mlps {aka} the nuetral safety switch or the selector switch on the transmission and that will fix the radio problem and the power steering problem it may have also.
Crossed wires that have corroded together can cause your heater and radio to stop working, at the same time. The heater and radio are not related in any other way.
The car battery. Same as the lights, cigarette lighter, windshield wipers, power windows, power seats, and the heater (for a little while), when the engine is off.

there is no fix for this except to buy a new audio unit from the dealer. unless you still have a factory warranty then it will be replaced at no charge to you. this is a common problem with accords with that type of radio.
I had the same problem, no radio or blower or heater controls. It was fuse f11, on the top row of the two, nearest the back. It looked ok, but when I changed it anyway, they all worked again. Hope this helps
The radio adjust automatically to the amount of road noise, more noise, the radio adjust its volume, and of course, that works the same way reversed, lesser noise, lower volume needed. Test this by opening your windows while driving on the freeway, the radio adjust its volume up, so you be able to listen to the music, by closing the windows, the volume automatically turns down.
One of contacts is loose. I would assume, the problem is the ground.
Sounds like a loose ground wire. Vibrations of the vehicle cause intermittent service interruptions.
Those are two seperate circuits. Start with checking the fuses. There is a fuse for the radio and a fuse for the heater blower motor.
