I hope to God you're joking, but to answer your question, "Egg Shape" means it has a perfectly rounded fatter top and the bottom is still round but much smaller and at an angle. So that top would be that fatter rounder part.
Eggs can be packed more efficiently with their ends pointed up - the egg cartons would have to be larger, otherwise. However, if you prefer to store them in some other position, you are free to do so. Eggs don't really care.
You can't. For an egg to hatch into a chick it must be fertilized by a rooster. This occurs before the hen ever lays the egg. Eggs which end up in egg cartons are carefully processed, having been laid by hens which do not have access to a rooster (unless they are free-range eggs purchased directly from your local farmer). They are not fertile, and have no chance of ever hatching.
Fertilized eggs that will be used to hatch should be stored with the large end UP. They should also be turned once per day during collection.
they can if you feed the mealworms
he says whats up doc
If they are floor loaded which means no pallets only boxes stacked up you can fit about 1056 cartons
This is the usual strategy of animal which do not look after their young. It is a numbers game, if 1% of the eggs survive to produce adults then if yo lay 100 eggs then yo will end up with 1 offspring, if you lay 1,000,000 eggs, you will end up with 10000 offspring. If you do not protect your eggs from predators then it is best to lay so many that some are bound (by chance) not to get eaten.
Eggs have an air pocket in them, the air tries to get up and out of the water because air is less dense than water.
In cardboard egg boxes, large end UP, in fridge.
Yes; specifically, the female makes a chamber at the end of a long burrow (sometimes up to 30 metres long) where she lays her eggs.
As breeders we call them "Viable eggs". They are fertile but they may not end up as chicks. "Fertile chicken eggs" is just as good when discussing them with others.
there is a minute chance you could end up with salmonella from the uncooked eggs.
