This is what you could do:
*Take out you USB device and give the port a gentle blow.
try again.
*If it still doesn't work, (On a normal computer there are more than one USB port), Put the USB device in a different port.
*If they don't work then the problems could be as follows:
-There may be a problem with your computer/laptop.
-There may be a problem with your USB Device.
-If there is a problem with your computer (If you tried changing your USB port 2 times+ and there is no new response) you may need to call up the computer company and ask for an exchange.
External devices which are attached to the computer are called "peripherals."
Yes it can! ;)
You can always just turn it off with external switch on the computer.
Peripherals are external devices that are attached, either by a cable or wifi, to the computer. Examples of peripherals are a keyboard, monitor, mouse, printer, external hard drive, and so on, all of whom are attached externally to the computer's tower and motherboard.
If the computer cannot recognize an external hard disk, it would be virtually impossible to format it. There must be a problem with the hard disk. Consider replacing it or taking it ti where you bought it.
This would generally be observed on a laptop/notebook system when you are using the integrated screen and do not have an external monitor attached. If you try to switch from one display to the other, it will tell you it has no external display to switch to.
The port is an external connection device on the computer which is used to connect different peripherals. Concretely it is a socket (and the corresponding plug) that enables an external device (peripheral) to be attached to a computer (usually to a motherboard or adapter card).
Probably the disk is bad. I had this happen and I inserted another disk and it recognized it.
An external hard drive
You can connect a CATV cable into a computer monitor by first attaching it to an external TV tuner. A VGA or HDMI output can then be attached to the monitor.
Hard drivePeripherals are all the external bits attached to your computer, such as mouse, printer, fax, modem and so on.
The headlights are controlled by the computer attached to the under hood fuse box. There are no external fuses.
