96,551. :) good luck
you would have to burn 96,551 maple logs and you need 13,034,366 experience to go. Hope this helped.
It depends on how many hours a day you'll play RuneScape.
The maple shortbow is the best cause it give +29 in atk bonuses, while the willow comp gives a +22 bonus and shoots slower.
For this type of question, use an online RuneScape skill calculator. Thus, you can not only get the experience for "maple logs / 99 firemaking", but also quickly experiment with other target levels, and other types of logs. There is one at Salmoneus' site (runescape.salmoneus.net); but there are others, too.
One maple log on RuneScape will grant you 135 Firemaking experience when burned. You need 11,824,010 experience points to advance from level 75 to level 99 in a skill. 11,824,010 divided by 135 equals 87,585.25926.Therefore, you will need to burn 87,586 maple logs to advance from level 75 to level 99 in Firemaking (assuming you receive no experience bonuses).
40,957,851 wow.. wat a nerd...haha Actually it wont take that many, in total from 0xp to 99 it takes 192k willows, (i know this because im getting 99 wc) so it would prob be about 191k willows from 20-99
Maple Bow, mainly because of it's higher ranged attack bonus.
i bought both the maple short and the willow comp and compared the stats and i was mad cause i had just spend 70+k on a willow comp just to find out it had worse stats than the maple short so i think maple short is the best because it is faster than maple long and does the same amount of damage
Mainly Yew & Magic logs -fletching/firemaking reasons. Edit by Eng1sh: Due to the recent drop of the Maple logs in their value (from 44 gold pieces each to now about 36-39 gold pieces each) I would say that Maple logs are probably the most selling log in Runescape. Many players find them to be the best logs to burn for 99 Firemaking because of the better experience yield as opposed to Willow logs. They also give good experience for the Fletching skill, and many are sold everyday. Yew and Magic logs are typically too expensive to be traded on a mass-scale, and therefore Maple logs can be sold in greater bulk.
