When Uthman Bin Affan-May Allah be pleased with him- was killed he was reciting surat al-Baqara (the cow).It was narrated that drops of his blood had flown over the verse number 137 which is: "So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."
However, Allah is all-knowing.

Muhammad Usman Soomro died in 1946.
Usman dan Fodio was born in 1754.
Muhammad Usman Damani died on 1897-01-26.
Zil-e-Huma Usman died in 2007.
Othman (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed unjustly by revolts who were complaining regarding how he managed the Islamic state as he was the head of the Islamic state at that time. The killing was unjust and Othman died as a martyr may Allah gather us with him in paradise.
The first Four Caliphs are Called the Rightful (Rashidoon) Caliphs. They were in order of seniority: Hazrat Abubakr who died his natural death. Hazrat Umar was assasinated in the Majid i - Nabwi when he came to lead the Fajr prayer. Hazrat Usman was assasinated by the rebels. Hazrat Ali was also assinated while he came to lead the Fajr prayer. In fact, the first four Caliphs didn't keep any body guard.
