The water has a tendency to evaporate if heated; this will quickly absorb any heat, and thus reduce the fire.
There is a general tendency for objects to expand when they get hotter - this includes air, and gases in general. As a result, they have less density (mass per unit volume); and objects with less density tend to float or rise.
I do know that hard cheese is not as stringy when it is heated. Soft cheeses tend to be stringy and even lumpy. Quite possibly it has something to do with the aging or ripening process.
Pasteurization just means it has been heated to a point to destroy harmful bacteria. Cheese is made from milk, so it is an animal product, and therefore, is not vegan. Although there are 'artificial' cheeses that are made from hydrogenated oils (soybean, palm kernel, etc.), that are vegetarian. You just have to read the label to see what the ingredients are. A: Most hard cheeses contain rennet which comes from a cows stomach and is not vegetarian. There are cheeses which have vegetable rennet, but they are not vegan.

When heated by the air, dry ice reverts to a gaseous state as carbon dioxide. Some lower layers of Jupiter's gaseous atmosphere are much denser than water. He had a tendency to become gaseous after eating beans.
