Well it depends, when he punches you does he hit you so hard it hurts or maybe even bruises or does he do just a little harmless punch to your arm and smiles at you? If it really hurts and you ask him to stop but he doesn't you should tell someone you can trust and ask for their advice. If he does it jokingly and it's a form of affection then you shouldn't worry but if it starts to hurt or gets annoying ask him to stop.
