I don't know about VI, but there is going to be a release of Guitar Hero On Tour for the Nintendo DS on June 20th, 2008. It's a new design with a guitar grip (like the neck of a guitar) that attaches into the GB Advance slot, and you strum the strings on the touchscreen with a pick styled stylus.
There are also new songs, as usual, that are exclusive to the DS.
