Mary has numerous feast days all throughout the year. The reason why is because she is Our Lord's Mother & Our Blessed Mother too.
March 25, the Annunciation December 8, the Immaculate Conception January 1, the Solemnity of Mary

Mary(the *COUSIN* Of the Virgin Mary) & Alphaeus. In Our Lord's Day, there was no word for first-generation cousins. They were called "brothers & sisters."
That by definition should never be done, its stepping over the line to idolatry. Mary was a vessel by which God came in human form to us. There is nothing special about Mary. Very lucky, yes, but still human just like everyone else. And there was only one we should worship and praise, and that is God who is Jesus Christ who also sent the holy spirit. If however you've chosen to worship Mary regardless, pick a day out of the calendar, but remember that day, because that is the day you turned your back on God.
Mary was chosen by God eons before the earth was even created to be the mother of His Son. However, Mary was unaware until the Angel Gabriel appeared and told her. It is commemorated every year on March 25 on the Feast of the Annunciation.
Christmas: When the baby Jesus was born in a stable at Bethlyhem. Mother; Mary and Father; GodEaster: When Jesus died on the cross. (The Crucifiction). And when Jesus came to life again the next day! (The Reserection).
Christians say that the Virgin Mary wept for Jesus and her tears turned into carnations. So on Mother's Day you should wear pink or red carnations if your mom is alive, and white carnations if your mother is dead.
