In Mexico, Children's Day is celebrated on April 30th. It is also known as "El Día Del Niño". Most kindergartens and elementary schools cancel regular classes and have big parties instead, with piñatas and lots of candy. They play traditional games like "Pin the Tail on the Donkey". Some stores have big sales or give candy away to children.
