Christopher Paolini originally made it a trilogy but at the end of book 3 (Brisiner) he says there will be a fourth book.
Christopher Paolini has stated that there will be one more book after Brisinger. I have not heard of a release date yet.
On randombuzzers.com, a few months ago or so, Christopher Paolini was answering his fans' questions, and one of them was when he will finish his next book. His response was that he was not finished, but was kinda' close, as, when he was writing the third book, he found that it was going to be too long, so he ommitted some so that he could fit it into the fourth book.
No one's sure, he's hasn't set a date yet but my guess is since it takes him four years to write his books - about 2012 or so.
I assume you mean the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. The fourth book, Inheritance, will be released on November 8, 2011. Hope that helped!
Yes.

Yes, the green dragon, Thorn, is depicted on the cover of the fourth book, "Inheritance," in the Inheritance Cycle series by Christopher Paolini. Thorn is the dragon bonded with the antagonist, Galbatorix.
IT IS BELIEVED TO BE AVAILABLE BY THE END OF 2010. Christopher Paolini is currently in the process of writing the epic novel. :D
3 It was 3 but there was too much for him to fit in 3 books so now there will be 4. =] Yes, Christopher needs more room to write, so its not a Trilogy now.
