ATP or Adenine Triphosphate can relase energy by way of breaking up the bonds between the phosphate atoms, thus converting the energy that is the bond (which is huge) to any form of energy (e.g. heat).

Why the Phoshp - phospho bond has a huge energy ?

because the phosphate has many free unstable electrons floating around its nucleus, so its hard to keep 3 phosphates together, that's why we expense alot of effort (energy) keeping them together. once ATP is broken its like when a highly streched string got released free .. so alot of stored energy (mechanical) will be relased

Hope this helps !

ATP stands for Adenosine TriPhosphate It is a molecule made up of adenosine and 3 phosphates. When a phosphate is removed from ATP, a high energy chemical bond is broken and energy is released.

ATP = ADP (diphosphate) + P + energy

When any type of energy is released from anything, it needs to be charged, or "excited". This is done by other atoms bumping into each other. It is like saying me kicking you in the arse with a boot, You'll go flying waayy up in the air. When you are falling back down, you will be releasing the energy. Thus, when you fall, you have no energy.

The energy is released at the end of the "fall"

Adenosine Triphosphate's bond is broken, forming Adenosine Diphosphate. In this process it releases energy.

ATP becomes energy for the cell and releases ADP.

How is energy releaded from ATP?

The bond between the third phosphate molecule and the second in the ATP molecule is broken down and energy is released. Because it is an exergonic reaction.

Would the formation of ATP molecules from glucose oxidation be an example of energy transformation or conversion?

Yes. It is a good example of energy transformation or conversion. In this energy stored in glucose molecule is released in small pockets. And stored in 38 ATP molecules. Here ADP molecule get converted into ATP molecule. When energy is required, ATP molecule is reconverted into ADP molecule.
