I would say 3-6 hours later depending on the dosage took and your body weight and liver functions, give your liver time to process the ibuprofen. But your best bet is just to avoid drinking for 24 hours. (This is not a professional opinion, and I am not a doctor) You have no right recommending a medical answer if you are not a doctor. My understanding is that white wine, a clear liquid, is OK. But alcohol dehydrates as does Picolax - hence the keep drinking clear liquids rule. So don't drink much and keeo taking water.
