I believe that if one believes in God and The Bible then one should do as it says. Obey the laws of the land. Therefore, if one wants to be married in God's eyes he or she must have a legal marriage, if, that is, he or she is living in a country that views marriage as being legal after this process. It is important to make this covenant between each other in front of God as in having a ceremony as well.
