Plagarism is only not an issue(technically) if the information is considered common knowledge; ex: 'the sky is blue' or 'an orange has vitamin C in it'.
Also, plagarism might not be an issue(you wouldn't have to cite sources) if the original author gives you permission to use their work without giving them credit(extremely rare).
