As I understand it, the 2008 construction year is to be a transitional year for Quebec to "test drive" moving the 2 week construction shutdown back by a week. Until I get further information, we are planning the actual dates to be July 28-Aug 1 and August 4-8. The holiday is July 20, 2008 to August 2, 2008 inclusive as shown on the website of the Commission de la construction du Quebec which can be accessed at www.ccq.org. The site is available in English and French
