in November...
The Leonids meteor shower will be at its peak November 17-18, 2011.
The Eta Aquariids meteor shows is around May 3 this year.
The Lyrid meteor shower. In 2011 is should be at its best on the nights of April 20 and 21, with a peak of perhaps a dozen or so meteors per hour.
That's not how meteor showers work. They don't "hit" specific places; they're visible pretty much everywhere the sky is dark. Tonight (August 13, 2011) is near the peak of the Perseid meteor shower.
Should be early January. The Quadrantid meteors should peak at around the 3rd.

I looked it up and found that it will be on janurary 4, 2011
There are several known meteor showers that occur more-or-less regularly during the year. They occur when the Earth passes through the dust trail left behind by a comet. I've linked an article from Sky & Telescope Magazine listing the expected 2011 meteor showers. The first is the Quadrantid, on January 4.
In 2011, the Perseids will peak on 12-13 August. Viewing of meteors is always better after local midnight. Unfortunately, fainter meteors will be wiped out by the moon, which will be full on the 13th.
