It would depend on which part of Queensland and/or New South Wales that one wished to visit. Generally, September is probably the best month as far as the weather is concerned. Temperatures are warming up as it is the first month of Spring, but there is less likelihood of sudden storms or extended downpours. It is not yet the official bushfire or cyclone season.
