Windows hasn't told anyone, but there is no such thing as windows nine, YET!
can you use 9 with windows XP?
You don't need Windows 9 yet, because Windows 8 hasn't been released yet, so wait until windows 8 gets released to need windows 9...
Windows 7 is the latest version of Windows. There is no Windows 9 and of course no Windows 10.
Windows 8/9 is a codename for Windows 7's "successor". Apparently Windows 8/9 has been actually in development for awhile now. Microsoft actually has a presentation about windows 8
Yes. Windows Vista includes DirectX 9.
There's no such thing as Windows 9 unless you downloaded an unofficial Windows OS and someone modded it and called it something else.
It's because 7 ate 9...
It is unknown when windows 9 will come out, or whether or not it will even be called that. It is unlikely to be in the developing stage yet. The reason for this is that windows 7 came out in 2009, and windows 8 has only just been released as a developer preview, with an expected release date of late 2012. Windows 9, if it does get developed, will not be released for at least another 4 years.
I will take a stab at this answer. DOS 1 through 9. Then came Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7.
Windows 9!
Yes.
All Internet Explorer versions is designed for Windows. IE 9 is only officially supported by Microsoft on Vista and later.
