When you are passing another vehicle, you encounter a solid yellow line in your lane or a solid double yellow lines in the center of the road. The vehicle law says you may not cross over the solid yellow lines. Hence I would suggest you slow down and get back in your lane.
The song was covered by Petra Haden and Bill Frisell which appears in episode 3.08 of the The O.C. In 2006, Tre Lux covered "Yellow" on the cover album A Strange Gathering.
I believe it is.Added: You may make a legal left turn across a double yellow line. You may not PASS another vehicle by crossing over the double yellow line.
Technically you can and can't, if you're driving down a any road with a continuous double yellow line (not broken) you can never pass (even if there's not a car in sight going the other direction but people tend to get annoyed and will pass only if there's not a cop around). On the other hand if you driving down a STRAIGHT road, and there is a broken line on your side with a continuous solid line on the other side of it, you CAN pass (See below link).
You may CROSS a double yellow line if that is the only way to legally negotiate a turn into a property. The double yellow line signfies only that you may NOT PASS another vehicle. Of course, the direction of the person directing traffic must be obeyed.
He released it in 1973 on "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."
Anytime you see a yellow line on the road it means that the two lanes are for driving in opposite directions; a white line always means the two lanes being divided are for traffic moving in the same direction; broken lines on the road, regardless of the color mean it is ok and legal to pass another vehicle by moving into the other lane, passing the vehicle, and then returning to your original lane.
A broken yellow line indicates a passing zone. It is illegal to cross a double yellow line, unless you are avoiding an obstruction in your lane. So passing zones are marked out where driver's can safely pass one another (usually areas where you can see at least a mile down the road). When the broken yellow is on your side of the road, you are legally allowed to pass the vehicle in front of you, if you can do it safely. If the broken yellow is on the other lane (your side has a single yellow line), you may not cross into the next lane.
A yellow object reflects yellow light.
Because any pigmented shirt absorbs every color except what it reflects. The color it reflects is the color that appears. So a yellow shirt reflects yellow and appears yellow.
It means one side of the road has two lanes and the other side has only one lane and that lane is you have to stay in between double solid yellow lins.It means no passing.(in the US) They both mean the same thing - NO PASSING AND/OR NO MOVING OUT OF THAT LANE. The double yellow line means that there is opposing traffic in the opposite direction and you may not pass. The solid white line means that although the traffic is moving in the same direction, you may not move out of that lane.
Double yellow lines, which are solid and not dotted, indicates a no passing zone.
Double solid yellow is between two lanes of traffic with oppsing directions. This indicates no passing a vehicle that is traveling the same direction by moving to the oposing lane momentarily. You have to stay in your lane. Solid white is a line between two lanes going the same direction, but indicates changing lanes is not admissable unless safety concerns exist. Again, you have to stay in your lane.
no passing
A center line that is solid yellow signifies a no passing zone for the lane the line is on. A double yellow line means no passing for either lane. A broken yellow line means you can pass another vehicle.
yellow zone for patron apprears
It means you cannot pass. If you had a dashed yellow line, you would be allowed to pass.
a blur? no if you are in a passing lane the line to the right will be a white line that has skips, and the line to your left will be a solid yellow or double yellow
