When people make games like call of duty black ops hardened edition why dont they make enough so theres not a crazy rush to get a copy and so a lot of people dont have to go without?

this is so they make more many, if some one wants the game but it is sold out they would have to order from Call of Duty and they would charge them extra

If you want the 4 WAW Zombie maps it is the only way to get them. You can get the 3 new Zombie maps for $15 each with the 3 map packs, but you might want to play all ten zombie maps . Some people buy the prestige edition and sell the remote control vehicle instead of getting the hardened edition

Who said the hardened Edition needed the download. Why download when they could just put on the disc. It's like the people who think if the have the Call of Duty World at War Map Packs that they can use them on Call of Duty Black Ops. The download limit is zero from what I can read. Ask yourself have you seen where there was a place that needed a code so you could download the 4 Maps for Black Ops.

Currently it is unavailable to anyone who bought the regular edition. Many people are hoping that it will come out soon but no one knows when. If you can't wait I suggest getting a cheap copy of World at War and buy the map packs for that. Rezurrection DLC will include the 4 WAW maps Nacht der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, & Der Riese along with 5 new maps including zombie map Moon

Yes you do, but many times the same game might have different titles like game of the year edition or Greatest Hits edition. They are the same game. Editions are not different games and can play similar maps together. The old Hardened Edition of Black Ops could play the World at War Maps in Multiplayer with only other people who had the maps, but the could play other maps with the people who had the standard edition. If someone has a DLC that includes maps that you do not have you can not play any of those maps with them, but they can play multiplayer with you on any map or level that you both have

There will be a new map pack Rezurrection released starting with the Xbox 360 on August 23 2011 and 30 days later for the PS3 and PC that will include the maps. Rezurrection will include the new zombie map Moon and the 4 WAW Zombie Maps Nacht der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, & Der Riese that have been modified for Black OpsYou need the hardened or prestige edition to get them. Then you can go into the PS Store or the XBox store, and buy them for points. You will get all four, with all Black Ops weapons included.The information above come from a Nintendo Wii player who can not get a hardened or prestige edition because it is not available for Nintendo. The people with special edition games did not have to buy the maps that's one reason why the games cost more originally and why the high price of any found on the internet.
