people move from poor areas to the city in hope of finding a job and better life but when they get there it isn't what they thought it would be it is far worst but they have no money to go back home so there for the only way to live is to stay there and try to find work.
People move because they just wanna do in order to move. Since human being has energy a person can move because energy is the capacity to do work.that's why people move. ......this is my own idea...
Goods- trucks, airplanes, etc. Ideas- telephone, internet, newspaper, ads, etc.
Many MEDC CBD's are now faced with the problem of traffic congestion; As more people move to the edge of towns and cities, traffic congestion may get worse. Many people will drive their cars into the city centre to get to work. It is compounded by people being brought into city on large roads or motorways. These roads then link up with smaller, older, narrower roads in the city centre. This causes a bottleneck and congestion.
There could be many reasons why. Parents want kids to go to good schools and enjoy it. People move their because they feel that it is a nice place over there. People just like new houses.
The Automobile
Peaple move to shanty towns because it's the only place they can go, as people move in the shanty towns will expand.
People move to Shanty towns for a better life, a better lifestyle. Looking for a a good education for their kids, looking for safety and Health (usually they come from deserted areas in which disease is common and death is a dayly occurance). Pretty much looking for a better way of life.
Most of them are irregular settlements without proper utility services such as tap water, sewage and electricity. Also, as most shanty towns are irregular in nature, are not built properly - many "homes" are made from cardboard and corrugated steel sheets - in such a way that any natural disaster such as earthquakes and mudslides could prove to be disastrous.
Because they want too.
Merchants, by selling food and goods, attracted people to move to the towns. The Medieval period is also known as the Middle Ages.
Counterurbanization is when people leave large cities and move to smaller towns and rural areas.
Nobles didn’t move to towns, but towns built up around the castles and manors.
Many of the farmers displaced by the Dust Bowl disaster (1934-1940) relocated to California, where they were known as Okies because many were from Oklahoma. They were seeking jobs as farm laborers, but the Great Depression left many migrants without work, or living in unsanitary shanty towns.
Most of the old mining towns are considered to be ghost towns now. Many of the mines went out of business and without the work, people had to move away and leave the town empty.
The towns grew up around the manor for safety and people could help each other.
There were an increased number of factory jobs in the cities.
So a boom town is created when a large amount of people move to a single location, often to exploit a natural resource. The gold rush is a good example. Then when the mineral or other reason to be there disappears so do the people. They leave behind the buildings creating a ghost town.
