You don't have to but it is recommended and a good idea to.
No you do not need to replace any plugs at all when replacing wires.
coil pack bad, or wires could be faulty/old should replace them, or the sparkplug itself could be bad try replacing plugs & wires and start from there
It is not necessary to replace the coilpacks as routine maintenance. At around $70 each, it is a significant expense. Replace only the boots that connect from the coilpacks to the plugs. I think JC Whitney has the boots for $4 each. Replacing the boots is equivalent to replacing the wires on an older car. Do not replace the small wires going to each coil. They are not high energy wires.
With a socket for removing plugs. The wires should just slip off and need to be replaced with the exact same length.
If you haven't already,Try replacing the plug wires and spark plugs and regap the plugs to factory spec.
You can tune up your Nissan by replacing the spark plugs and spark plug wires. You should also replace the air filter and the oil.
Replacing Spark Plug High Voltage WiresNO, not necessarily. Spark plug wires only need to be replaced maybe once or twice in the life of a vehicle, IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN PHYSICALLY DAMAGED OR ABUSED.Therefore, it is normally not necessary to replace the plug wires when replacing the plugs.
I would replace them at the same time you replace the park plugs on a car built in the last 10 years which is at 100,000 miles. On an older car replace them at the same 100,000 miles unless you have a miss which replacing the plugs does not solve.
More than likelybad plugs or plug wires on a 10 year old car. Can also be a burnt valve, blown head gasket, or bad rings. Start by replacing the plugs and plug wires. Replace the wires one at a time as to not get them mixed up.
No, they don't necessarily have to be replaced. However it is usually a good idea to replace the wires along with the spark plugs. As the wires age and go through heating cooling cycles they get stiff and brittle. As you flex the wires to remove them from the spark plugs the inner conductor often breaks causing a misfire. Also when you pull the spark plug boots off of the spark plugs the connector often can break loose and stay on the spark plug, thus ruining the wire.
Try replacing the plugs and wires
First thing to do is replace the plugs and wires if you have not done so. It you have or if replacing them does not fix the problem then have a compression test run.
