well u can start as soon as u have given birth but due to the fact that you cant have sex ubtill a month afther you give birth you don't have to! wait until your postpartum visit when your docter gives you the ok to have sex and then he'll gave you all the info you need! u can use different kinds of Birth Control so hell tell you what you need to know
