The 2006 Honda Civic coolant temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine. The coolant temperature sensor will be in the vicinity of the thermostat housing.
On a Honda Accord the coolant temperature sending unit is on the passenger side of the upper engine. It is next to the cylinder head.

The coolant should be changed not less than once a year under normal driving conditions. Change the coolant every two years if the bike is only driven occasionally, for example once a week. Checking the coolant level is important, as some liquid may have to be added occasionally.
