I have a similar question. I inherited a 2008 Malibu which my son drives (a lot). On a recent trip to the dealer for oil change maintenance, they suggested the Transmission Fluid Flush. The car is at approx. 31,000. All my life I have heard that messing with the trans fluid is a no no. I already made the appointment for the flush and am having second thoughts. This car is out of warrenty. Maybe the flush will prolong the trans, maybe it will kill it? Anyone want to comment?
