It depends on her age. Facebook lets you join at the age of 13. It is very safe and you can keep all things private. It is a brilliant way of letting her improve her communication skills, but you need to let her know that she should not add any one she doesn't know and does not accept them. As long as she knows the basic internet safety rules, she will be fine.
