Some vehicle manufacturers recommend fuel filter replacement at 30,000 miles. Always replace the fuel filter at the vehicle manufacturer's recommended mileage listed in your owners manual. If you have no manual, replace it at the very least every 36,000 miles, or whenever you replace the fuel pump.
