Is highrisk one word?

No. A high risk is a risk that is high (two words). But if used as an adjective term, it should be hyphenated high-risk. But this is not always done because there is a low chance of a misunderstanding.

Who should have the responsibility be blamed for for hospital acquired invasive fungal infections for highrisk patients doctors respiratory tech administration nurses families or others?

Hospital-acquired infections (HAI) add significant morbidity (sickness) and mortality (death). HAI are due to clinicians in the hospital not following PPE and infection control. Who should have the responsibility (be blamed for) for hospital-acquired invasive fungal infections for high-risk patients (doctors, respiratory tech, administration, nurses, families, or others?)

Is it true that the miscarriage rate goes down after you see the heartbeat on an ultrasound?

Hi, Not really, no. The miscarriage rate goes down when your 3 months into your pregnancy.Hey! Actually I saw the baby's heartbeat at 6wks and again at 9wks both on Ultrasounds (I've had so many due to having 3 previous miscarriages and being labeled high-risk). I asked my doctor that exact question and she said that it does take the miscarriage rate down alot, so much so that she doesn't even consider me highrisk anymore. So yes, according to my doctor is does make the miscarriage rate go down (of course it does not go away completely but it does get better). It will go down even more when the placenta successfully takes over the hormone production (which is why most people don't consider it to be "safe" until 3months which is when that final step takes place.) Hope that gives you a little comfort and peace of mind! I know it did for me when I heard that from my doctor!

What happens if your body doesn't get enough folate?

The reason to take prenatal vitamins is to be sure that you are getting everything you and your baby need in order for s/he to develop properly. It increases the chances of healthy development, but of course, at the end of the day, sometimes development issues happen whether vitamins were taken or not. In addition, if you don't take them, it doesn't mean you will have an unhealthy or underdeveloped baby. Throughout history, women have given birth to healthy baby and never had access to prenatal vitamins. It's a matter of knowing what we now know and trying to do the best we can to ensure good, healthy outcomes.

How do you avoid miscarriage?

Stay away from harmful foods and dangerous activities such as boxing, jumping,or anything with to much movement..also it helps to remain relaxed and stay away from stressful situations because to much stress can lead to a miscarriage or maybe even birth affects. If it occurs in the first trimester though there is not anything you can do. That early it's usually Mother Nature doing it because there is something wrong with the embryo/fetus and it wouldn't survive. And normal exercise is recommended for someone who's pregnant.
