You should stop feeding your dog puppy food when it reaches about 1 year. A typical puppy will reach adult size when its about 8-12 months.

I would have to say if it is about a year old, you should switch to dog food instead of puppy food.

All puppies should receive puppy food, and be fed three times daily, for AT LEAST the first year of life. Check with your Vet for his/her recommendation of puppy food for small breeds. I fed my westie, Mop, puppy food till she was one and a half. :D

What puppy food can a 3 week old eat as all the food packets say from 2 months onwards?

You can feed a 3 week old puppy, dry puppy food that has been soaked in warm water until it is very soft & mushy, then add some canned milk (1 part water to 1 part canned milk) to the mushy puppy food until it is a bit on the watery side. The pup should dive right in and make a big mess lapping it up. Make sure you are using a good name brand of puppy food, not some cheap generic puppy food. As the pup gets older, you can make the food less watery until you are feeding dry puppy food only. You only need to add the canned milk for about a week then stop with that. Don't ever use regular cow's milk as can cause diarrhea.

I stopped feeding my female guinea pig alfalfa after 5 months of age. I would ask a vet or a pet store for a professional opinion, though.
