Grudges can be about communication, meaning someone said something that someone didn't like and so they dwelling on it. The best way to fix this kind is open communication. Just talk calmly about what happened and why it is a problem.
Grudges can also be about action. Grudges can be about one's personality. If this is the case, you still need to go to this person and tell them how you feel wronged by their grudge. If they aren't open to your explanations or reasoning or want you to become a different person, there is very little you can do.
The person holding a grudge may not want to stop, though. For example, there are a lot of people that hold a grudge against President Bush. They are so full of hate that they are basically unable to forgive him for whatever he did or said that upsets them. Sometimes, you just have to move on.
