They assist students or teachers
There are several factors in placing students in classes. Teachers sit down with the names of the incoming students for the new school year. They do this at the end of the school year each spring. The teachers are given test scores, grades, behavior, special needs, and requested students. The requested students go to the teachers that have been asked for. Then, the teachers discuss each student and where they think who would be the best teacher for them. The classes are also put together to have an equal number of boys and girls, the same class size, and a equal number of children with behavior/ learning problems. This is how classes are put together. It takes several days to do and at times students may be moved for one reason or another.
it depends on the student if there a good student they probably do if they are bad probabbly not
Teachers ignore the good students because she knows that they are already performing well and concentrates more on the weak students to improve them.
Having smaller classes definatley improves student learning. Many children are shy and feel more comfortable speaking where less people are around. Teachers can easily restrice small classes from talking and interupting. Although the only way to help the class improve is for the teacher to be good and actually help the students. The teachers make everything happen, the rest just falls into place.
Any teacher can hurt a student.
SSG stands for SUPREME STUDENTS GOVERNMENT...they are students officers who are the link of the students to the faculty/teachers. They will be the one who will defence the students againts teachers but they must see to it that the student also following the rules and regulations of the school.
Teachers are paid to be at school while students are not.
Teachers get paid the same whether or not their student pass or fail. This is why most teachers don't go out of their own way to help their students pass.
Most college professors/instructors have a neutral approach toward the students in their classes. They are there to teach a subject and not to hold a student's hands. It is not up to them if a student attends class, turns in work, or follows the class guidelines. It is up to the student because he/she is an adult and is paying for a seat in the class. If they don't do the things needed to pass a class, then, they fail. It is not personal nor hate, but just the reality of attending college. When someone teaches 9+ units that means they have over 120 students or more for the classes they teach and really don't have time to know all the students attending their classes. So, grow up and quit internalizing a teachers approach to his/her students.
A student portal serves as an online gateway allowing students and teachers to interact within a school website. The teachers may log into this portal to supply their students with assignments and class information. The students may use the portal to log in and access this material.
