cut the plant back when you see it is ready to blossom.
The peonies should come back but they may not be as strong as they could be. The plant needs the leaves to gather energy for the new blooms in spring.
Yes, the blooms should be cut off iris plants.Specifically, the plant in question has to redirect energy and reprioritize life-sustaining activities into seed production and subsequent fall and winter survival patterns. A bloom which is not removed provides competition for the above-mentioned concerns. It also will attract unwelcome pests to the plant when it is vulnerably trying to ensure perpetuation of the species.
Yes of course 3 thimes a month
I take just the spent blooms being careful to not damage current or immature blooms. If all the blooms on a "frond" are dead, I take them all in one cut about midway along the stems. Buddleia is fairly resilient. You would really need to be aggressive to cause significant trauma to the plant. It's easy to keep the plant in check while deadheading. If you see a limb that is out of control take it off during deadheading.
Yes. Unless you want to collect seed. If you cut off the old flower down to the first leaf you will get new growth and secondary flowers. Not as good as the first flush but worth having nonetheless.
When the bloom begging to wilt.
Cut back hard, cut out about 20% every other year or so. You should have all new growth and they might not bloom the first season after the trimming but they will remain healthier and support better blooms.
After the blooms have died and the stems turn brown, daylilies can be cut back. If you want to divide the plant, which should be done every three or four years, do it in the early spring when the shoots appear. Two spades placed back to back are insert in the ground in the center of the donut-like shape of the plant. Pushed in to the soil, they will divide the plant in half. Remove one half and plant it elsewhere. If the plant is large and the center of the donut has not been divided in several years, the plant can be divided in to four sections, and each section replanted. Daylilies are very hardy and prefer lots of direct sun.
We should not cut many tress . And though if we cut we must plant more
plant more trees and when you cut it replace it
Cut or plant? If cut, disolve the flower food in tepid water and they should bloom in one day. If a plant, then water with warm water and let drain thoroughly. Place in the kitchen for warmth..the plant should bloom much faster.
