God is an old english word for "Good" (better) and "high". Higher power. Thats what deus means in greek. The Mythologicle Writers created These "higher powers" to represent earthlly elements. Zeus is dirrived from deus. The greeks, Not Mythologiclelly but philoshpiclley (sorry for my spelling) Refreded to a being known as "the one". They were theisticlly agnostic literally speaking. They named him deus (higher power) witch over time changed to "Zeus" as the "One". Folklore and Legend created the God Zeus. Zeus is Greek for All father,All powerfull one and supreme God as said above. He as a mythologicle charicter Was The "Ultimate God" personifieng they Heaven and ruling The Cosmos. As he developt threw folklore and 1,000s of years of stories he evolved Into a Human like charicter. Many Epics and stories On how he devolped to become the "Ultimate Supereme God". Actully there are 5 Earths and races in allmost every mytholgie 5 Navjo worlds, 5 Aztec earths, 5 Human races in greek mytholgy. Wanna know the spooky part theres been 5 major extinctions in the earths history. The titanomacy nearlly destroyed the universe so he rebuilt but the hate and abstract evils were still there the Gigantomacy and many other battles caused more and more cosmic disorder. As i Said above Zeus has had many many adventures in his life and lots of power and charicter devolpment. He had many magic powers and wepons (Skyfather power,Lighting ect.) witch increased his power So phanes interjected and zeus killed then ate him then destroyed and rectreaed everything (not itme since that is trans-dimental and as i said kind of doese not exist) And created His universe gaining yet another power So he is the Ultimate God the source of all creation and created our universe we are in. So Yes you are correct Late Greece became "Henothestic" and Zeus was the creator god in some branches of the Mythos
