Kilobyte. It is the data size of the file, found by right clicking on the image, scrolling down to properties, clicking and looking to where it says 'Size: ## MB / KB / GB.'
From google. The picture must be smaller than 120 x 120 pixels and smaller than 40 KB file size.
go to "Profile",Then go to "My Account" and click on the "Personal info" tab then have an image that is 120x120 pixels and you can edit the size of any pic you can by editing it then after you have chosen a photo and it is saved to your computor click "Browse" then once you chose an image 120x120 pixels, click "Edit your avatar"
You go onto Profile, then underneath the personal info on the top left corner it says edit my account click that then scroll down a bit and it says "An avatar is an image that represents you. It is in GIF, PNG or JPEG format, measures 120x120 pixels, and is a maximum of 40 Kb." And under that it has a space to put your code for your picture-- momojojo howrse player
You can scale an image to make it larger or smaller, but you can't create pixels out of nothing; if you scale it to have fewer pixels, then you're losing detail, and if you scale it to have more pixels, then you have to guess at the value of the new pixels by averaging nearby pixels. Both of these tend to make the picture look more blurry.
They're called avatars and you need the picture you want to use to be smaller than 40KB and 120 x 120 pixels and saved to your computer's harddrive. You then go to Profile --> My account --> Edit my account (the one by the paperclip) --> Browse, select the picture you have chosen to use, click okay, then Upload.
Dot pitch is a measure of the distance between pixels. The smaller the dot pitch, the better the picture.
Pixels
The 256k does not actually relate to a picture size, just how much data is in the picture. This is how many pixels there are (how many tiny squares of data make up the picture). This means that if you enlarge the picture, the pixels become more apparent (the image looks like it's made up of squares) however the amount of data (k) in the picture has not increased. If you decrease the size of the picture, the same number of pixels remain (but you can't see individual pixels). Only if you crop the picture, some pixels will be deleted so the data content (k) will be smaller. But (k) does not give a specific picture size. Hope that helps.
Go to profile>my account>edit my account. Then click browse and upload a picture that you want as your avatar. Your avatar must: Be in GIF, PNG or JPEG format Measure 120x120 pixels Be a maximum of 40 Kb.
The size of any picture in pixels depends on how the picture is taken. You can take the picture to have as many or as few pixels as you want.
The smallest part of a computer screen is called a pixel that makes up the picture
it determines the resolution of the picture. the higher the pixels, the clearer the picture.
