about every 60.000, i just done 78,000 on mine but its usually the tensioners or pulleys that collapse
around 60 000 miles or less, its up to you, could be costly if you dont change it

There should be adjustors to add or reduce the no. of clicks req'd on the cables underneath. They probably just need tightened.
