Ford says they are OK for 100,000 miles, factory platinum type. If you, like me, are a bit skeptical, pull the plugs around 40 to 50K and inspect. Never hurts to change them out if you have any doubt. Not a major job, so I invest an hour or so of my time and 20.00 and replace mine at 40 to 50K.
