4 year old girl, broken humerus 2" from shoulder ball. doctor, put a low sling on it a said it will heal itself. humerus bones overlap each other an 1". has not been set or casts. should i get a second opinions?

I did not need an operation and things are starting to move nicely, physio is not pleasant and I suffer after driving but my problem is the swelling of my inner arm between shoulder and elbow. A bone fracture should definitely be washed, but this is not a process that is done at home. If you are suffering from a bone fracture, immediatly seek treatment at an emergency room. ER staff will clean and set the fracture for you.
