When you consult with a travel agent, he/she will be advising you on the high season and low season fares. Generally, summer and the Christmas holidays would fall under high season. This means that the prices are higher than the normal rates.

If you travel during the low season, you get a better deal. So, if you are on a tight budget, check out the rates during low season. If money is no object, then go whenever you please!
