The home row keys are the initial resting place for fingers in touch typing. Once they are recognized, the location of keys for the rest of the alphabet are automatically known for a trained typist.

Just make sure you have your hands placed correctly so that you are learning to find the keys correctly, not with just one or two fingers. :) If you don't know how to place your hands, your left pointer finger should rest on the F key, and your right pointer finger should rest on the J key. Your fingers should rest on those four keys in a row on either side, and your thumbs should rest on the space bar. Then, when you type, reach the finger that is closest to type that letter rather than moving your hands all over... only move your fingers. If you haven't typed that way before, it might feel uncomfortable at first, but the more you practice, the better it will feel, and your speed will go way up from typing with only a couple of fingers.

You are playing with your mind, not fingers. Your mind should memorize the tune and hand structures and your fingers should just do the rest for you.
It refers to the keys A, S, D, F, J, K, L, and semicolon (;), which is where the fingers generally rest when they're not pressing other keys.

If you mean "Chord Zed," the "Z chord" or "the scrub", the key is you don't press. Rest your fingers gently on the string to dampen the vibration. You don't want the strings to touch the frets at all.
When typing the titles of books, they should be italicized to distinguish them from the rest of the text. This helps to visually highlight the title and make it stand out for the reader.
