The majority of the tissue that is used is from their own body, however often implants are used in the place of testicles.

Do keep in mind that if a person is of the type that gets surgery, they are transsexual, not transgendered. After surgery, they are neither transsexual nor transgendered, but just a man. Also, you cannot "become" a man. They are a "transsexual man" before surgery and just a man after. The gender after "transsexual" ALWAYS refers to who the person is, not their body. What makes a TS man a man is inborn in their brain and soul and has nothing to do with the body. To call them a woman denies who the real person inside is.

What is a male transsexual?

This is a person who is born with female genitals which they feel are inappropriate in their bodies, and who identifies fully as a man, usually to the point of hormones, and usually some corrective surgery. However, not many get all of the surgery, due to the expense and poor surgical outcomes. Female to male transsexual persons are separate from women who merely dress in what is traditionally considered men's clothing, and they are different from women who often identify as butch, but yet embrace being female.

What are the signs of a woman being transsexual?

A woman being transsexual.. Do you mean a Female-to-Male, or Male-to-Female? IS it her body that is female or her brain? Aye that does not matter. Any transsexual person shows signs of being the other gender early in life. At 5-7 years old the person discovers and tries becoming themselves, whether or not "themself" matches their bodies.

What happens to the genitals of male and female bodies when you die?

After death, the genitals of both male and female bodies undergo a process called livor mortis, which is the pooling of blood in the lower parts of the body. This can cause engorgement and discoloration in the genital area. However, within a few hours to days after death, the body begins to decompose, and the genitals, like the rest of the body, will eventually decompose and break down.

Do transsexuals feel the same way they felt before?

A transsexual person is a person born with genitals that are at odds with who they are, and they get surgeries to eliminate their transsexualism. They believe in only two genders and believe their bodies are wrong. So they seek to destroy any differences and become like any other person born as a member of their corrected sex. Being born with transsexualism is not the same as choosing to become transgendered. Generally, transsexual people are happier after undergoing hormonal and surgical changes, since they feel more comfortable in general (including, more specifically, in their own bodies and in social situations). However, when transgendered persons who were not born with transsexualism get the surgery, it usually ruins their life. So you have to make sure you have the condition of transsexualism and not merely transgenderism before getting the surgery. Being transsexual and being recognized as one's corrected sex can change one's world view. A lot of people become aware of certain social situations and norms that they had previously been unaware of while living as their assigned-at-birth sexes. For example, a lot of transsexual men (female to male transsexual) become much more aware of male privilege. Transsexual women become more aware of sexual harassment. Transsexuals may or may not feel sexually and romantically attracted to the same general groups of people (e.g. women, men, etc.) as before. Lots of people remain attracted to the same people, but a significant number of people are attracted to different people. Transsexual people usually can still experience sexual arousal and orgasm after the surgery to eliminate transsexualism. The mechanics of sex might change (based on hormonally- and/or surgically-changed genitals), so how someone relates to their partner(s) might change.
