They are called isomers, in which they have the same formula but a different structure. The six-carbon monosaccharides glucose, fructose, and galactose all have the formula C6H12O6, but have different structures, which gives them different properties. They are isomers.

No it is not, and there is only one or two kinds of atoms but compounds is not one of them. :)

What are the differences in atoms in elements and compounds?

atoms in elements are one kind of atom where as atoms in compounds are different atoms example gold is a element and it is made up of only gold atoms and water is a compound and it is made up of hydrogen and oxygen atoms

No. Substances are made of atoms. Some atoms combine with other atoms to form compounds.

What the relationship between the elements and the compounds?

Atoms make up all matter. An element has atoms that are all the same. Compounds are made of different kinds of atoms combined chemically in exact whole number ratios.

An element which is made up of atoms?

They all are. A lump of iron is made from loads of iron atoms, a lump of aluminum is made fro aluminum atoms. Compounds and mixtures are made from a combination of atom types bonded together.

Is elements atoms?

Elements are made of atoms. Each element is made up of the same kind of atoms, having the same atomic number.

Are compounds made from different types of atoms that are chemically bonded?
