Anne Boleyn's exact date of birth is unknown. It is estimated by historians that it either took place in 1501 or 1507. My opinion is in favor of 1501 because Anne was sent to the Court of Regent Margaret of Austria in 1512 so it is more probable that she was 11 years old as apposed to 5 years old.
Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII, was crowned Queen on 15 June 1533. On the 7th September the same year, she gave birth to her first child, Elizabeth, (later to become Elizabeth I), which upset Henry as he was determined the baby would be a boy. Over the next few years, Anne had at least two miscarriages, thus dashing Henry's hopes of a male heir. When he tired of her and already had his eye on another lady at Court (Jane Seymour), trumped up charges were brought against Anne of incest, witchcraft and treason. She was found guilty and sentenced to death. She was beheaded at the Tower of London, on 19 May 1536, going bravely to her death and despatched by an expert French swordsman who Henry had ordered, to give her a quick and more merciful execution. Anne was buried in the church of St. Peter ad Vincula, at the Tower. Her grave was originally unmarked, but during Victorian renovations her remains were identified and there is now a marker over her resting place.
