Yes it is a Christian celebration/holiday in Britain.
No [Edit] Hogmanay, or the New Year, was traditionally of far more importance in Scotland than Christmas Day. My late grandfather was Scottish and he always used to tell us that he had to go to school on Christmas Day itself, not just Christmas Eve. This would have been around 1900. Christmas Day did not become a public holiday in Scotland until 1958. Compare the situation in England, where New Year's Day did not become a public holiday until 1974.
Christmas eve is not a holiday on Christmas is a holiday so Christmas Eve is the day before Christmas you can't celebrate Christmas eve its not a holiday
" A dog is for life, not just for Christmas" was the Christmas slogan introduced by Clarissa Baldwin of Dogs Trust in 1978. It was created to discourage people from impulse-buying or abandoning dogs after the holiday season.
Its people's opinions about their favorite holiday. My favorite holiday is Christmas.
