Ford Grand C-Max was created in 2010.
Loosen the bleeder screw then squeeze the piston with a large channel lock pliers or C-clamp. I have a 96 Grand Prix SE and had the same problem....has to be screwed in not pushed in. Take the calipers off & take them to Auto Zone - they will do it for free.
caliper piston does not retract with moderate C-clamp pressure - not willing to force it
Look down between the air cleaner and washer fluid reservoir; the two A/C valves are just below the back corner of the battery. At least they are on my '92 Gran Prix.
with a c clamp. put a block of wood or your old pad over the piston and tighten with clamp.
On a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix, the A/C refrigerant refill port is located on the low-pressure side of the A/C system. This port is typically found near the accumulator, which is located on the passenger side of the engine bay. It has a larger fitting compared to the high-pressure port, making it easier to identify. Always ensure the engine is off and the system is not under pressure before attempting to refill.
In a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix, the A/C low pressure switch is typically located on the accumulator or the receiver-drier, which is usually found near the front of the engine bay. It's a small electrical component that monitors the refrigerant pressure in the A/C system. To access it, you may need to remove some engine covers or components for better visibility. Always ensure the vehicle is off and properly depressedurize the A/C system before attempting any work.
