Vernal Utah Temple was created in 1997.
Manti Utah Temple was created in 1888.
Bountiful Utah Temple was created in 1994.
Ogden Utah Temple was created in 1972.
Monticello Utah Temple was created in 1998.
Logan Utah Temple was created in 1884.
There were two temples dedicated in 2006, the Sacramento California Temple and the Helsinki Finland Temple. The Rexburg Idaho, Twin Falls Idaho, Panama City Panama, Curitiba Brazil, Draper Utah, and Oquirrh Mountain Utah temples were under construction. Most modern temples take about 1 1/2 years to build from groundbreaking to completion.
Jordan River Utah Temple was created in 1981.
Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple was created in 1996.
St. George Utah Temple was created in 1877.
There is one temple in Temple Square, that is the Salt Lake Temple. There are other buildings on and around Temple Square, these include two visitors centers, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, the Church Office Building, the Tabernacle (where the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sings), the Assembly Hall, the Conference Center, the family history center, the church museum of history and art, and the church history and archives building. There are other temples in the Salt Lake City area, but the closest is about 20 miles away. These are the Bountiful Utah Temple, the Jordan River Utah Temple, the Draper Utah Temple, and the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple.
