That all depends on the overall condition of your rifle. You do not state what amount of original finish remains on the wood and metal, bore condition etc. This would have to be added to the question to get a more accurate value to your rifle which was made in the year 1950 by the serial number provided. Please include what model of 99 rifle you have also.Model C,E,R,F, etc.
It is possable that is the complete serial number.Savage made 10,000 rifles in the first year of production 1899.I need to know if it says model of 1899 thou.If there is a model 99A,B,E,H,F,G marked on your rifle?these represent the different models of the model 99.The early model 1899 rifles could be marked model 1899A,B,C,D(Military),F,or H models. Please include this info and the caliber that is marked on your firearm to get age,and value along with the serial number in your next posting of this question.
