Savatage
Savatage are a heavy metal group founded by brother, Jon and Criss Oliva in 1978, in Tarpon Springs, Florida. However, at the time they were known as Avatar, but due to copyright issues in 1983 they changed their name to Savatage, by combining savage and avatar together.
Savatage is an American heavy metal from Florida and TSO is a modern classic orchestra from New York. One thing in common, Jon Oliva is one of the principal songwriters of TSO And prior to the evolution of TSO, Oliva was the keyboardist and singer in the band Savatage.
Savatage is not a "Christian" group. However, the band's long-time producer, Paul O'Neill, who wrote some of their music and heads up the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a Christian and includes elements of his faith in his music.

Christmas Eve by: Savatage on: Dead Winter DEad
Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 By Savatage (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) The song is often misnamed "Carol of the Bells" (due to its use of the melody) on file-sharing networks. As such, it has also been incorrectly linked to Metallica or Mannheim Steamroller (who themselves have several instrumental Christmas music hits, including its own rendition of Carol of the Bells) rather than accurately being attributed to either Savatage or the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_Eve/Sarajevo_12/24
