Honestly, between Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and Noida International University, I’d personally choose Thapar without much doubt. In my experience, Thapar has a much stronger reputation for engineering, better placements, a stronger peer group, and far more industry exposure. It’s consistently rated higher by students and has major recruiters visiting campus regularly. Noida International University is decent, but Thapar is generally considered to be in a completely different league when it comes to academics, coding culture, and opportunities. So overall, if fees are manageable, Thapar is definitely the better choice.
For ECE, Thapar University, Patiala is better than GNDU Amritsar — stronger brand, better labs, more exposure, and better placements. GNDU is fine if you want lower fees and a quieter setup, but if you’re aiming for industry exposure and opportunities, Thapar has the edge.

Choosing between NIT Srinagar and Thapar University depends on individual preferences and career goals. NIT Srinagar is known for its strong engineering programs and is part of the National Institutes of Technology system, which often emphasizes technical education and research. Thapar University, on the other hand, has a reputation for a more holistic approach, strong industry connections, and better placement opportunities. Consider factors such as location, specific programs, campus facilities, and personal career aspirations when making a decision.
